As the year comes to a close we often get so caught up reflecting on what we've accomplished personally over the year that we often forget to acknowledge the accomplishments of others. fortunately, I spent a good bit of this year clapping for others because this year was a win for so many folks in my inner circle. It was 365 days of constant reminders that God is really...really...really...GOOD! I want to take this time to remind everyone that even if you felt like this year was hard, you pushed through and in my eyes you all individually won for real!! I had my pom pom's up all year because 2019 was 12 months of Oh yaaaasss!! So here are some moments that made me smile, cry and admire so many of you this year.
Shanelle started her BLACK owned business(House of Nisut). Mack and Jaunita not only got married, they got a really cute dog. Keisha never put her camera down and shot one of the most beautiful photos my eyes have ever seen. LaTesha, and my Grandmother kicked cancer's butt!! Three of my good friends removed themselves from toxic relationships. One of them is in SUPER love with a great man!! Uloma started a family prayer call. She also started a prayer run. Come on Jesus!! Gifty got a new job. D'kia stayed on our TV screens. Dexter wrote two pilots. Jen did a big chop and grew out the most amazing fro. Jada bug (my niece) got an 105 on a chemistry exam and solidified her position as the most book smart person in the family. Nikki traveled around the world and took pics that literally screamed "how you hatin' from outside of the club?? you can't even get in" or at least that's what they said to me! lol! Ashley gave birth to yet another beautiful child after popping out a set of twins that are sure to be supermodels. Prowla released the funniest Youtube series. Mack mixed Montell Jordan's comeback single. My mom got Lexus truck and a nose ring on her 60th birthday because she's a boss. My coworker had a beautiful baby girl after years of trying. Dashaunda started a business (Dclazzique). Angela performed at the Taste of Soul. Liza got engaged. Tara ministered. My God.. Tara ministered!! Fe saved lives. and I don't know this man from a can of paint but Omarion set the bar for all things unbothered! lol! There were so many great things that happened this year. So, as we head into 2020 lets keep this same energy! Lets cheer for one another, tell each other good job, pray for one another and continue catching blessings no matter how big or small! You never know who's watching..unless it's me. Ima tell you i'm watching because I love saying "yaaaaaaas" to good news!!!
